The young actress dished about growing up listening to TLC, looking up to Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, and meeting with fellow cast mates, Lil Mama (Left Eye), and Drew Sidora (T-Boz).

I met with Lil Mama… I met with Drew Sidora, we actually had a little table read so we’re getting our flow together. We have a few weeks before we start filming to get everything flowing because we’re going to be in choreography, and all that type of stuff. I haven’t had a chance to meet Chilli or T-Boz yet, but I’m going to be meeting them as soon as I get to Atlanta, which is tonight, and we start filming March 6th.

I’m surprised they didn’t have to meet with Chilli or T-Boz BEFORE getting the part… Post your thoughts!

I think that she can pull it off; she certainly has the voice and she is a fairly good actress.

Hmmmm. I’m not going to judge. But them not meeting with the people they are portraying is kind of a red flag

I trust that T-Boz and Chilli ain't gonna let this shit look an absolute mess. Plus, TLC has worked with Vh1 in the past, so there is already a business relationship there, where I'm assuming both parties have a mutual respect for each one another. This could work.

Sn: Anybody else kind of feel like Keke and Azealia favor?

That makes me nervous. If the living people that are being potrayed are in good health and spirit the actors normally meet with these people & spend time with and even sometimes their family to basically “morph” into the people that they will be bringing to life on screen. That is odd that they are waiting so late to table read, learn dance moves, and meet the people they are playing. I wish them nothing but the best, but I would contact the producers or somebody to get the ball rolling. This will be these 3 first biopics. Even if it is just a tv movie, this can lead to other roles. I would atleast study and watch interviews, tv appearances, and performance videos like Beyonce did for her role potraying Diana Ross and the other lady. (Even though her acting is not that good)…

(PS: I cannt see the comments)

Angela Bassett met with Biggie's mother AFTER she got the part.
Same with Keke. I see you are unfamiliar with the auditioning process.
T-Boz & Chili don't have time to meet EVERYONE auditioning to play them.

They will probably meet with them when the recording starts. I'm open and actually looking forward to the biopic.

Chilli and T-Boz probably just saw their audition tapes, I'm praying they pull it off still don't see it for Drew tho.

One thing I'm hoping is in the movie is the chemistry between the girls. When I think of TLC in their early years I think of moments like when they were in House Party 3. They had the best vibe between the 3 and looked as if they always had fun. I hope that's something they all can recreate.
