Brandy Says She’s Going to Sexy Up Her Image

As I’m sure most of you have heard, Brandy will be on this season’s Dancing with the Stars premiering on September 20th (2 days before Law & Order: SVU *cough*). I’m happy for her and will PROBABLY tune in just to see how she does. She says she plans on bringing it this season and check out what she has to say about her dancing abilities (or lack thereof) after the break!

“I’m so into it! I know I’m never going to look as sexy as I will on this show. You have to be sexy on this show! What people don’t understand is I have never been a good dancer! Dancing has never been one of my strongest points. With this show, you have to do things you’ve never done before, and I’ve never done anything like this. It’s a whole new experience! When I get through that first performance, I think I’ll be OK. My daughter will be there and she’s very feisty; she’ll say, ‘Mom, don’t embarrass yourself!

T.I. & Tiny BUSTED for Possession

You know how I’ve said in the past that I am a stan for certain celebs but within reason? What I mean by this is that…no matter how much I LOVE an artist, I won’t “fight” folks on the ‘net about it, nor will I cosign their stupid behavior. I love the KAAANG (as evidenced in the NUMEROUS posts here on the site) but this right here? Seriously, Tip….I HOPE that this is a misunderstanding of some sort.

The honeymoon is over for T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle because TMZ has learned they were arrested tonight for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies took T.I. and Tameka into custody in West Hollywood.

The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami.

T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing prison time on federal weapons charges.

We’re told T.I. and Tameka are both in custody right now.

A couple days ago, I posted THESE shots from actor Brian White’s wedding to a latina named Paula Da Silva. Apparently, White caught a lot of flack for the type of woman he chose to marry and decided to go on a retweeting rampage.

Shortly after, he tweeted:

Chile…build a bridge and get over it. First off, I thought the objective of Twitter retweets was to either cosign someone’s opinion or to prove idiocy. Which one are you doing, Brian? If neither, what was the purpose of the retweet? Second, if comments from faceless folks from the internet compel you to ‘react,’ then you and your new bride are in for a rude awakening. As bad as it may sound, some folks in the world just aren’t ready to accept interracial relationships. The only thing you can do is press forward and not give it any attention.

FYI Black men: You no longer have to justify your choices to me. I’m use to it already and, rightfully so, have moved on.

Thanks for everyone who participated in the contest for a private evening with Ne-Yo celebrating the Champagne Life. It’s always extremely hard to pick a winner but fortunately, I wasn’t the one doing the choosing this time! Check out the winner after the break!

This is what I feel the CHAMPAGNE LIFE is ….The part in the song where Ne-Yo says “Welcome to the CHAMPAGNE LIFE where trouble is a bubble in the Champagne glass DREAMS & REALITY are 1 and the same” caught my attention.

The 1st Part: The SMALLER the bubbles are in champagne the more expensive it is. When u r living the CHAMPAGNE LIFE u can afford the most expensive bottle & “trouble is a bubble” so the bubbles n your champange glass will be small, which means the problems in life are SMALL(minimal).

The 2nd Part: Made me think of the quote by Dom Helder Camara “When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream, when we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality.” Champagne is known to have an “acquired taste” I can relate that to the fact that many people cannot grasp the concept of making their dreams a reality because they never act on their dreams most often due to their fear of failure. Therefore, Champagne Life is not fit for everyone, its only for those who are brave enough to go after their dreams, work to make their dreams a reality, and have others to share their dreams with.

To sum it up many people r living in REALITY but not living out their DREAMS…they have settled for REALITY & gave up on wat their DREAMS were….if u r living the Champagne Life u have made ur DREAMS a REALITY….
