MTV has deemed it inappropriate for its viewers to watch Lady Gaga’s “Telephone“ video, so the music channel is banning the provocative and controversial mini movie-cum-music video. Other networks are expected to follow MTV’s lead, but the millions of people who have seen the video on YouTube do not seem to mind.

The controversial video has riled the sensitivities of some people for its raunchy content, which includes lesbian kissing and a lot of boobs, not to mention parental-advisory-worthy lines. The video has received over 14 million hits just three days since its debut. “Telephone” opens with a bra-less Lady Gaga being escorted to her jail cell by two bra-flashing guards, as female inmates salivate at the new jailbird.

Walmart is raising eyebrows after cutting the price of a black Barbie doll to nearly half of that of the doll’s white counterpart at one store and possibly others.

Packages of Mattel’s Ballerina Barbie and Ballerina Teresa dolls hanging side by side at an unidentified store. The Teresa dolls, which feature brown skin and dark hair, are marked as being on sale at $3.00. The Barbies to the right of the Teresa dolls, meanwhile, retain their original price of $5.93. The dolls look identical aside from their color.

A Walmart spokeswoman, who could not verify the exact store shown in the photo, said that the price change on the Teresa doll was part of the chain’s efforts to clear shelf space for its new spring inventory.

“To prepare for (s)pring inventory, a number of items are marked for clearance, ” spokeswoman Melissa O’Brien said in an e-mail. “… Both are great dolls. The red price sticker indicates that this particular doll was on clearance when the photo was taken, and though both dolls were priced the same to start, one was marked down due to its lower sales to hopefully increase purchase from customers.”

“Pricing like items differently is a part of inventory management in retailing,” O’Brien said.

But critics say Walmart should have been more sensitive in its pricing choice.

As a fan, you want the artists that you like to do their thing and be successful but when you feel that they’re doing less than that, it doesn’t make you any less of a fan to speak on it. I would love to see Raymond vs Raymond do well but with the exception of Daddy’s Home (cuz I do like that song now ha!) and this track, I’m not too excited about what Ush has in store for us. But we’ll see. I’ll continue rooting for him but just b/c I am a fan doesn’t mean that I am obligated to like EVERYTHING he does all the time.

Dear Miss Jia,
I guess I’ll get right into it. Now, the deal between a friend of mine and me is that, if the consensus says that I’m really wrong AND it can be justified, then I’ll cut the situation. Alright, about 5 months ago, I was hanging out with some of my girls at a club. It was a little grown and sexy spot with a LOT of fine men there but one really caught my attention. We began chatting it up for a while and once the spot was beginning to shut down, we decided to exchange numbers. The next day, I talked to him for a few hours and during the course of our conversation, he shared with me that he was married.

I immediately told him that we can’t be a couple and we definitely won’t be having sex. I do not believe in breaking up happy homes. However, I did agree to have lunch with him. I figured that it would be safe enough. I asked him if it was okay to bring a friend…he agreed and we had lunch. Leaving the club on the night we met, I didn’t see what type of ride he had but during lunch, I noticed that he was driving a very nice, very EXPENSIVE luxury vehicle. After he paid for the lunch and we were parting ways, he hands me a grand and tells me to go shopping.

I’m thinking to myself…WHAT? When I got in the car with my girl, she asked me if this was the same ‘married’ guy I had met in the club. I confirmed it and she began to give me grief over taking the funds. I pretended to listen to her thinking that MAYBE it was a one time deal.

Since that time, he has continuously given me money in much larger sums than the grand he initially gave me. He currently pays all of my bills, I have a brand new luxury car and I can’t remember the last time a day went by that I didn’t go shopping on his dime. Only thing is, I have not had sex with him, have not kissed him, or even implied that we would ever have any level of intimacy.

So here’s my question…I feel that, as a woman, I am doing my part in being civil. I’m not sleeping with this lady’s man, I don’t visit her home (we’ve only met in public places during broad daylight) and I have no intentions to. BUT I’d be joking if I said that his willingness to spend didn’t help me turn a blind eye to his commitment. By the way, he does have one child with his wife and has never mentioned anything about their status. He just said that he is married and still very much with his wife.

I will let you and your readers be the judge. Am I WRONG for allowing a man to provide me with funds if he’s already proven that he has more than enough to spend and doesn’t mind giving ME some? Before your readers go crazy on me, note that I do have a job. Now, instead of spending my money to pay bills, I save it while spending his. Sue me.

Hell yes you are wrong for digging in that man’s money even if he IS offering it to you. At the end of the day, that’s still his wife’s money and that same money is being used to take care of his family, as he is SUPPOSE to. I’m sure that he and his wife didn’t have a contractual agreement that says that he can be married like hell but throw his money around any way he feels on a SINGLE FEMALE. Although it does feel good to have that extra, you DO know that dude is paying for the HOPE of some pussy. Don’t think that he’s just giving up money just because it puts a smile on your face. No honey…those are down payments for EVENTUAL ass and personally, I think that ONE day, you’re going to feel obligated to give it to him. If you fail to, trust me…that money is gonna suddenly run OUT and he’s going to be coughing up that wallet to some other chick who will.
